Mindfulness is the practice of being fully aware of our experiences as they occur.
On this course you will learn different mindfulness meditation techniques that can be effective for stress relief and relaxation. Any activity that you perform where you stay fully present, completely and non-judgementally rooted 'in the now' can count as a mindfulness meditation technique and, when practiced regularly, can bring the benefits of meditation to your life.
Meditation can be an effective way to ensure that we are not ignoring a fundamental aspect of our wellbeing. By learning to meditate we can gradually begin to realise the mind and body relationship. This can have a positive impact on our physical and emotional health and deepen our spiritual relationships.
A calm relaxed body creates a calm relaxed mind. This can have a positive impact by seeing ourselves and situations with more clarity and this can lead to changing our responses and behaviour.
